Q2 Volunteer Project

For Q2, the Haywood team took a break from home remodeling and volunteered with La Soupe in Walnut Hills. La Soupe takes food donations from local restaurants and grocery stores and makes freezable meals.





"Each week, La Soupe is rescuing over 20,000 pounds of perishables and sharing approximately 15,000 servings created at La Soupe and another 15,000 through our partner restaurants as a part of the Community Kitchen program. These meals are shared with over 100 partner agencies across Cincinnati."


La Soupe rescues food that would have eventually been discarded and provides meals that will keep until they are needed. It was a great experience! Haywood recommends La Soupe to anyone who wants to donate food, buy a meal to support them, or get involved in processing food donations into meals.
